This wood fired porcelain octopus, with hand made silver and diamond, articulated, beak by Nisa Smiley, is hand built and wood fired. The wood ash, high heat, and kiln atmosphere, impart a rich palette of color on the surface of this one of a kind sculpture.
Tip it over and watch the beak open, revealing a diamond set into the octopus’s tongue.
