This one of a kind sculpture depicts an Atlantic Walrus, with lead tusks, reclining on a bed of blue mussels. The body is hollow porcelain, and the salty kiln atmosphere creates a rich palette of blues, greys, greens, and browns. Crystals within the glaze surface lattice over the whole sculpture.
